It's one of our favorite times of the year, time to open our doors to guests once again! Historic St. Mary's City (HSMC) will open its outdoor exhibits for the 2024 season on Tuesday, March 18.

Visit the museum’s outdoor and indoor exhibits to learn about Maryland’s diverse history.

General admission. Free for HSMC members.

Upcoming Events

In general, the new Maryland Dove can be found docked in Historic St. Mary's City from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The ship is available for viewing Tuesday–Saturday in the spring, Wednesday–Sunday in the summer, and Tuesday–Saturday in the fall.

A few times each year, Maryland Dove travels away from St. Mary’s City for outreach visits to other ports. Learn more at hsmcdigshistory.org
